Empowering Civic Engagement for All

Speak S.A.F.E. is a San Bernardino-based advocacy organization co-founded by Kresha Cael and Letesha Howard. Our mission is to expose and dismantle systemic failures within the California child welfare and dependency court system through legislative advocacy, community organizing, and legal accountability.
We work directly alongside affected families by attending monthly San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors meetings, engaging elected officials at the local, state, and federal levels, and building coordinated public pressure campaigns designed to drive real, lasting reform.

Our Mission

We believe families deserve transparency, fairness, and accountability within systems that hold immense power over their lives. Speak S.A.F.E. exists to ensure those systems are examined, challenged, and reformed through sustained civic action and community engagement.
